Corona is ugly at home, the pandemic is ravaging our globe in many places. No one can predict what the future will bring. We are all looking for something to hold on to and some positive certainty. The harsh reality, however, is that no one can offer it to us.

Our body is an instrument that we can control and regulate.

That is why it is crucial that we start with ourselves. Our body is an instrument that we can control and regulate. Instead of waiting for a vaccine with a mouth mask while the corona kilos are thickening, today might be the time to take action! Use this difficult period and the extra time now available! We are not allowed to visit family, the restaurants, cafes, cinemas and shops are closed, some people cannot even go to work. All these free extra moments offer us the chance to exercise, exercise and eat healthier.

What you get in return is phenomenal

If you exercise regularly and eat healthy, you will live longer and stay in good health, both physically and mentally. Obesity increases the risk of depression. How heavy you are is almost always the result of your own choices and actions: wrong diet (sugar, alcohol,…) too little exercise (hanging on the sofa, facebook, instagram, netflix). Exercise releases endorphins, dopamine and serotonin in the body; exactly the substances that are regularly used in antidepressants.
So it’s time for action! Take matters into your own hands. It is THE TIME to become stronger, more lively and resilient as a person.
